Entry Requirements for Courses

Standard entry requirements are grade 4 in Maths & English Language* + 3 other GCSEs at grade C or above.

* Where a student has got a grade 3 in English or Maths but has met all other standard requirements we will admit that student but they will have to take a resit course for the relevant subject and we will review with the student their Level 3 courses to ensure that they have a strong chance of success. We cannot admit students who have got less than grade 4 in both English AND Maths, even if they have met all other requirements.

Please note, the subject specific entry requirements are in the subject information booklet or on the subject page. Progression into Year 13 will require students to:

• Gain D or above grades in their Year 12 AS examinations. (Progression on E grade will be at school's discretion)

• Attend Year 13 lessons in the June/July of Year 12.

• Maintain a high level of attendance (96%+) to help ensure success in examinations.
