Abbeydale Sleep Out

group web

Notre Dame students recently took part in a sponsored sleep out at Abbeydale Picture House to raise funds for St Wilfrid's Centre, which is dedicated to helping the homeless and other disadvantaged members of our society. Juliette of Y11, who took part, says:

"It was a wonderful night staying in the Abbeydale Picture House to raise money for St Wilfrids Centre, thanks to the fabulous entertainment, stalls and company. Although that was fun, the main idea was to try and recreate the uncomfortable and painful conditions homeless people are in whilst sleeping and I feel it’s a topic that needs more attention. All that said, I’m thoroughly glad I was a part of it and would happily do it again."
