The annual Notre Dame Alumni Morning will take place on Saturday 13th May from 10am – 12noon. It is a delightful morning providing past pupils with the opportunity to share memories and photographs over refreshments, and sing the school song. There will also be a talk from former student Marie Garside CBE, and a presentation from the Head Boy & Head Girl team who will give information on what Notre Dame High School is like now.
We are proud to welcome back former students each year, with ages ranging from 20 to 90 years old. We have had wonderful feedback from those who have attended previously about how much they enjoyed the day. The morning is also for past members of staff who might like to return to the school for a visit. This year, we are arranging the morning slightly differently to take advantage of the new display boards in Oakbrook House detailing some of the history of the school, so the main meeting will be in the Chapel.
Please inform all family and friends who attended or worked at Notre Dame of this date which will be enjoyable for all, and a time for you to meet old friends and maybe some of your teachers. If any of your family or friends attended or worked at Notre Dame High School please encourage them to visit the Alumni website, http://www.notredame-high.co.uk/index.php/community/item/247-about-alumni and sign up. Please could you let us know by Wednesday 3rd May 2017 if you can come along so that we are aware of numbers for refreshments.
Confirmation of attendance can be made via email firstname.lastname@example.org, by telephone or letter. We look forward to welcoming you back to Notre Dame.
Last year we were delighted to welcome around 40 past pupils and some current members of staff to our annual Alumni morning on Saturday, 23rd April 2016 – even welcoming 3 generations of students from the same family!
The Head Boy & Head Girl gave a talk about the wide range of talents displayed in lots of areas by Notre Dame Students and the contributions they make to their school, communities and parishes.
Everyone enjoyed chatting to friends, looking round the school grounds and buildings, taking part in the quiz and raffle and, of course, singing the school song and ringing the school bell!
