As you may be aware, there are a large number of educational reforms being imposed on all schools. These include new GCSE and A Level specifications, a move to new number grades at GCSE instead of the A*-G letter grades and the disappearance of National Curriculum ‘Levels’. Staff are currently working very hard to respond to all of these changes. Our training time is largely given over to responding to this, and this will continue to be the case over the next couple of years as we get to grips with the new qualifications. Many of you are already asking us questions about how we are responding to the various changes, and so rather than wait until the information evenings in the autumn we thought it helpful to share a summary with you at this stage. This LINK takes you to a powerpoint on our website that may answer some of your questions. (For best results, click on Save and then Open). As always, if you have any thoughts or comments, please feel free to get in touch.
